| Xcellink is about the automation of consumer actions and that inevitably involves mobile phones, wireless technology, the internet and the other networks that connect them. This highly complex environment and the way that it is developing have to be understood and integrated into the Xcellink solutions. This ongoing process started decades ago for the individuals who are now part of the Xcellink Team, but who were in communications and computing when the now common mobile phone was emerging. Their work and what they have researched is all now part of the Xcellink information environment. That environment is growing all the time and ongoing development has become a major task for the Research Team. | System Engineering and System Integration are at the core of the development of the Xcellink architecture and solutions. While these are well established techniques, the emerging matters of social behaviour and consumer expectation are becoming the driving forces for change. Xcellink's approach to development allows and encourages change to be incorporated into the system, and to support that in a timely fashion. Xcellink has adopted a forward-looking strategy that has been successful in forecasting just what will be required in the years ahead, and as mentioned relative to Research, Legal and Social aspects are major elements. However for Xcellink to be successful, particularly in the banking components where tradition, tried and proved security and conservatism are very evident, all these elements are vital to the development program, and accordingly Xcellink has assembled a team with inter-disciplinary skills. | |
