Opportunity
The population of the world is moving relentlessly towards personal communications via mechanisms like phones, smart phones and wireless internet connected devices, and wants to use these to facilitate trade. Traditional mobile phones and similar premium devices are limited by the architecture that they work in and the failure of developers to discover and implement automated communications between customers and traders.
About 70% of the developed world's people carry and use mobile phones today and the growth elsewhere will catch up very quickly, with wireless personal communications now exceeding the historic wired network traffic in built-up areas.
Xcellink holds patents in all the key countries over a system and method that automates the direct communications between traders and their customers through those wireless communications devices. The Xcellink business model is positioned on a global basis to generate significant licensing of its patented technology and transaction fee income from these rapid social developments, and may be the only solution that is well placed to exploit the emerging trends for generations of personal communications devices.
The Market Place
Current attempts at contactless payment systems have been based on individual trader architectures and existing public phone systems that are simply inadequate for the tasks. The Xcellink approach exploits secure messaging on emerging wireless technology in a common approach to all traders and the banking and warehousing etc systems that need to be connected to satisfy emerging trader and customer expectations. Trends in social awareness and consumerization in general will facilitate adoption of the Xcellink product sets. The Xcellink patented business process meets the consumer demand for customer control and security, lower transaction costs, operational simplicity and global user access. Xcellink's revenue opportunities will grow in line with the take-up of the major upgrades required to retailers and business systems where contactless transactions are also sought. Consumerization is a global trend with all countries moving in that direction.
Revenue Strategies
The Company expects to generate immediate and long term revenue from sign-on fees from manufacturers and licensees; and from Partnering and Alliance arrangements with majors in the trading, banking, finance and telecommunications business sectors.
Apart from the significant licensing and sign-on fee opportunities, the ability of the Company to grow the transaction fee revenue, which has built-in cost benefits for the merchant, is significant. The strategy is primarily;
- Full marketing coverage of the targeted global major companies who would benefit from licensing and using the patented Xcellink business process.
- Increase the marketing resources required to cover lesser known manufacturing and potential licensees for incremental income opportunities.
- Seek out not readily identifiable applications and users for the patented Xcellink business process.
- To identify and promote telecommunications and computing solutions that will accelerate the general adoption of Xcellink products.
- To initiate strategies that facilitate uniform trading architectures across diverse legislatures, religious controls and in the presence of national boundaries.
- To identify issues and facilitate processes for the migration of existing charging and billing and electronic payment systems towards the unified Xcellink system.
